How do I start trading the markets?

After the registration procedure you will receive a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address you entered during registration, after confirming the e-mail log in to http://www.tradesmarter.com/options and start trading.

Click on 'Trading' (most left on the tab menu) and select the instrument you'd like to trade:

You can find the fixed payout for each option stated in the headline.

  1. Choose Direction: Call (above) or Put (Below)
  2. Select amount of Investing
  3. Click 'Trade'

Assuming you choose CALL (Above)

  • If the instrument closes above the price you purchased at expiry, you receive up to 81%
  • If instrument closes below the price you purchased at expiry, you keep 10% of your original investment.

Assuming you choose PUT (Below)

  • If instrument closes below the price you purchased at expiry, you receive up to 81%
  • If instrument closes above the price you purchased at expiry, you keep 10% of your original investment.

What are Binary Options?

Binary options or digital options, as derived from their name, are options that pay out a fixed return, depending on whether a certain condition has been fulfilled by the time the option expires. For example, You can speculate a 100 TS play money that the Google price will be higher than the current last price in one hour from now. If you are correct, you will receive a a 70% payout on you intial investment(In this example: 170 TS play money). On the other hand, If in one hour from now Google last price will be lower than the current last price, You will keep 10% of you intial invetment amount (In this example: 10 TS play money). What is the payout for the options traded?

TradeSmarter's "Above Below" game offers up to a 81% payout for successful trades (Options that expired In-the-money), and an up to 10% return for unsuccessful trades (Options that expired Out-of-the-money).

How the calculation of the payout is being done?

For example, you can speculate $100 that the price of Google stocks will be higher than the current stocks in one hour from now. If correct, you will receive 72% payout on your initial investment i.e. your account will be credited with $72 in addition to your $100 investment. On the other hand, if by the end of the hour Google's stock is lower, you'll keep 10% of your investment, i.e. your account will be credited with $10.

What is a Call Option?

What is a Put Option?

What is 'In-the-money' expiry?

What is 'Out-of-the-money' expiry?

What is 'At-the-money' expiry?

A professional term to describe an option trade in which the price during expiration is identical to the level at which the option was bought-In such a scenario the initial investment amount is fully returned to the customer. For example, if the customer has made a $100 ‘Call’ investment on Google stocks at a level of 305.5, with an expiry time of 15:00 and the level at the expiry time was 305.5, the full investment amount is returned to the customer, and the customer's account will be credited with $100. What is the current price shown for each underlying asset?

Each price reflects the live price at which TradeSmarter is willing to sell this specific option.

What is the expiry price?

The expiry level is the price of the underlying asset at the time of expiry of the asset according to a real time feed. For more go to: http://www.tradesmarter.com/wiki/Binary_option_expiry_level

What happens if the expiry level of a given underlying asset is identical to the level at which the transaction was made?

In such a scenario the expiry will be 'At-the-money' and the investment amount will return fully to the investor. Read more about 'At-the-money' expiry...

What is the expiry time?

The expiry time is the time and date at which an option expires.

What is the time zone of the expiry time?

The site's trading hours and expiry time are shown according to your PC's time zone.

How can I retrieve my password and login details?

You can retrieve you credentials by clicking on 'Forgot password?' button which located in top right corner of the main page. Enter your e-mail address and click on the 'Reset password'. An e-mail will be sent to your mailbox with instructions on how to reset your password. If you have forgotten the registered e-mail address, please contact our customer call centre by phone or by email: support@tradesmarter.com

How do I change my password?

In order to change your password, click on the 'My Account' tab and choose a new password in the bottom of the profile page.

How can I update my personal details?

In order to update your personal details, click on the 'My Account' tab.

How I can view my trading history?

You can find your trading history information under the 'My Trades' tab.

How can I view my account transactions history for credits and charges?

In order to view your transaction history, click on the 'My Trades' tab and then chose 'My Transactions'.

How can I view my balance?

You can view your balance in upper right corner of the trading area, or get a deeper view by clicking on the 'My Trades' tab and then chose 'My Balance'.
